The CMA is investing in the future of our region by building the capacity of our communities to play an active role in caring for local catchments. Whether you're a student, a parent, a property owner, a council employee, a business owner or a retiree, there is something meaningful you can do to make a difference to your local catchment.  Community CAP targets are about increasing people's awareness, participation and practical knowledge of natural resource management on their properties, in the catchment, in the community and in the home.

All CMA’s are engaged in a number of capacity building projects designed to increase community awareness and participation in NRM.  All planned workshops and forums correlate to our projects and programs to enable us as CMA Officers reach our target to spread the word about protecting our environment, and providing NRM information to our local communities.   So, if you want to be apart of our upcoming workshops visit your CMA website or Local Council to sign up now.
